📊 BMI Categories and Limits

| 17 – 18.4 | Underweight | May need nutritional improvements |

| 25 – 29.9 | Overweight | Increased risk of health issues |
| 30 – 34.9 | Obese Class I | Moderate risk of chronic diseases |
| 35 – 39.9 | Obese Class II | High health risk |
| 40 and above | Obese Class III | Very high risk, also called “morbid obesity” |
📌 Notes:
- Minimum BMI: Ideally not less than 18.5
- Maximum BMI: There is no fixed max, but anything above 40 is considered very high risk.
- BMI does not account for muscle mass, body composition, or fat distribution.

- General population (adults aged 18–65)
- Quick screening tool for weight-related health risks

- Athletes with high muscle mass
